9 Indonesian Citizens Participating in Humanitarian Mission Return Home on May 24

According to the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 9 Indonesian citizens participating in the Global Convoy of Hope humanitarian mission returned safely to Jakarta on May 24. The ship carrying the group was intercepted by Israeli forces in the eastern Mediterranean on May 18, and the 9 citizens were detained. Following diplomatic and consular efforts by the Indonesian government, they were released on May 21. After health checks in Istanbul, Turkey, they returned to Indonesia.
