Anthropic launched Claude Fable 5 on Tuesday, pricing the model at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens, more than 50% cheaper than Claude Mythos Preview. Stripe used Fable 5 to compress over two months of engineering work into a single day on a 50-million-line Ruby codebase migration. Fable 5 is free on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans through June 22; starting June 23, usage credits will be required.
