Asterix DN404 Contract Attacked on June 8, Attackers Steal 30 ETH Through 242 Transactions

ETH-0.75%
UNI-2.54%
According to ChainCatcher citing Slow Mist founder Yu Xin, Asterix's DN404 token contract suffered an attack on June 8, with attackers stealing approximately 30 ETH through 242 transactions. The vulnerability stemmed from a lack of token ID restriction checks in the approval operation within the DN404 early version. Attackers exploited outdated token approvals to repeatedly sell tokens in the Uniswap v4 liquidity pool for ETH, then withdrew equivalent tokens using forged IDs, repeating the cycle until the pool was depleted. The smart contract is immutable and cannot be patched; the team advised users to stop interacting with the current pool and token, and is planning to deploy a secure replacement token.
