According to Shanghai Metals United data, on May 13, battery-grade lithium carbonate spot prices rebounded to 201,400 yuan per ton, surging 26,300 yuan per ton since April 29. Multiple lithium salt producers cited tight supply from disruptions in mining logistics and robust downstream demand, particularly from electric vehicle battery makers, supporting the price rally in the short term.
