European Stock Indices Open Mixed on June 9; DAX 30 Down 0.24%, FTSE 100 Down 0.28%

On June 9, European major indices opened with mixed signals. Germany's DAX 30 fell 60.32 points, down 0.24%, to 24,581.53; the UK's FTSE 100 dropped 29.31 points, down 0.28%, to 10,343.89; and France's CAC 40 declined 19.89 points, down 0.24%, to 8,179.40. In contrast, Spain's IBEX 35 rose 29.69 points, up 0.16%, to 18,252.79; Italy's FTSE MIB gained 92.37 points, up 0.18%, to 50,300.50; and Europe's Stoxx 50 added 0.36 points, up 0.01%, to 6,062.65.
