According to Xinhua News Agency, rescue operations at Liushenyu coal mine in Shanxi have surpassed 24 hours as of May 24, with two workers still unaccounted for. Rescue personnel have been conducting continuous search-and-rescue efforts in the mine shaft, with teams descending in shifts. As of 8 a.m., rescue workers and medical personnel remained on standby near the slope entrance. The rescue team has deployed mine inspection robots to probe underground conditions.
