Tencent Prices ~$4.7 Billion in Dollar and Dim Sum Bonds

According to Bloomberg, Tencent completed pricing of approximately $4.7 billion in long-term dollar and dim sum bonds on June 9. The deal comprises a $2.45 billion U.S. dollar tranche and 15 billion yuan (~$2.21 billion) in dim sum bonds.

Proceeds will be used for refinancing and general corporate purposes, including development of AI products and services. This marks Tencent's first dollar bond issuance since 2021 and its second dim sum bond offering on record.
