BTC Liquidity Map: The Tug-of-War Between 75K Resistance and 62K Support

Abstract generation in progress

The current BTC price is trading around $71.02K, with on-chain liquidity distribution showing a clear bifurcation pattern. This high concentration of liquidity often indicates that the price is at a critical decision point. Below is an in-depth analysis of BTC’s liquidity structure.

Long-term Liquidity Pattern

From a broader perspective, BTC’s liquidity exhibits a distinct trapezoidal distribution:

  • Resistance above is concentrated near 75K, with multiple layers of liquidity stacked
  • Below, a dense liquidity zone forms between 62K and 60K
  • The area between these zones has relatively sparse liquidity, suggesting the price could experience rapid moves within this range

Short- to Medium-term Pressure Points and Risk Assessment

On shorter timeframes, liquidity is more concentrated and specific:

  • Significant liquidity is clustered between 65K and 66K (recent testing levels)
  • Residual liquidity remains near 70K that needs to be absorbed
  • The largest leveraged positions are around 63.8K, approximately $250 million, creating a strong magnetic effect
  • The current liquidity delta is about +150, indicating bulls still dominate
  • Some long positions exceeding 200 have been wiped out previously; remaining positions are sensitive to downside risk
  • Liquidity distribution shows a downward sweep tendency, common after price rises, but this does not necessarily mean an immediate decline

Current Outlook

BTC’s technical picture currently exhibits typical “consolidation digestion” characteristics. Although bulls still hold a numerical advantage, the fragility of their positions is increasing, especially regarding support levels below. The liquidity distribution suggests that before breaking above 75K or testing 62K downward, the price may undergo sufficient oscillation and position adjustments within the 65K-70K range.
