Trump's five-day negotiations entered their fourth day. From the current progress, the market hasn't seen substantial easing signals, and oil prices haven't shown any significant decline. I've emphasized repeatedly that oil prices are the most direct and truthful pricing indicator for war expectations, more valuable as a reference than any news. Oil prices remain elevated now, which essentially indicates the situation hasn't truly cooled down.
The overall market rhythm this week has been slow, with obvious back-and-forth movements that require high patience for trading. Once you frequently open positions due to emotions, it's easier to be repeatedly harvested by the market.
In this environment, compared to gambling on the uncertainty of news, I'm more inclined to hold onto profits that are already in hand, control the pace well—being careful is more important than reckless trading.
