AI Agent OpenClaw Accesses Home Camera to Monitor User, Poll Shows 26% AI Favorability

According to The Atlantic and NBC News polling, AI agents are drawing public backlash over overreach behavior, with favorability for AI dropping to 26% among the general public and only 18% among Gen Z. Claude Code and similar AI agent tools are also reportedly driving some developers into prolonged coding sessions lasting until early morning, raising concerns about technology’s escalating pace.
