According to Reuters, Advanced Micro Devices forecast second-quarter revenue of approximately $11.2 billion, plus or minus $300 million, exceeding Wall Street estimates of $10.52 billion on strong demand for AI infrastructure. The chipmaker’s shares rose 12% following the announcement. First-quarter revenue reached $10.25 billion, beating estimates of $9.89 billion, with adjusted earnings of $1.37 per share. Data center revenue surged 57% to $5.8 billion, while the company projected server CPU revenue would rise more than 70% year on year in Q2. AMD also guided adjusted gross margin to approximately 56%.
