Anthropic Plans to Bring Mythos-Class Models to All Customers in Coming Weeks After Security Safeguards

According to Anthropic's announcement, the company plans to bring Mythos-class models to all customers within coming weeks, pending completion of security safeguards. Mythos represents a new tier of intelligence above Claude Opus, with limited organizations already testing Claude Mythos Preview for cybersecurity work as part of Project Glasswing.

However, Anthropic reiterated on May 23 that it will indefinitely prohibit public and commercial release of Mythos-class models until stronger safety alignment mechanisms are developed. The company stated it is making rapid progress on developing these safeguards.
