Bhutan Government Moves $7M Bitcoin to SegWit Address, $237.39M Shifted Since 2026 Start

According to Arkham Intelligence, Bhutan's government recently moved $7 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC) to a Segregated Witness (SegWit) address, suggesting a potential transfer or sale. The crypto de-anonymizing platform notes the Bhutanese government has transferred a total of $237.39 million worth of BTC to SegWit addresses since the start of 2026. Arkham data shows Bhutan's government currently holds $234.33 million worth of BTC and approximately $68,000 in Ethereum (ETH).
