According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, Celsius former Chief Revenue Officer Roni Cohen-Pavon agreed to transfer $1.07 million in criminal proceeds as part of a forfeiture order on May 14, ahead of his sentencing hearing. The funds, which represent proceeds traceable to his criminal conduct at the now-bankrupt cryptocurrency lending platform, will be credited toward his judgment and may be counted as payment if applied as part of bankruptcy distributions.
