China Adds 3 Precursor Chemicals to Export Control List on May 22

GateNews

On May 22, China's five agencies—the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Emergency Management, General Administration of Customs, and National Medical Products Administration—announced adjustments to the export management directory for precursor chemicals. Three new chemical compounds, including 1-tert-butoxycarbonyl-4-oxo-3-piperidinementhyl methyl ester, have been added to the controlled list.

Effective immediately, exports of chemicals listed in the directory to the United States, Mexico, and Canada, as well as exports to Myanmar, Laos, and Afghanistan, now require government approval under existing regulations.
