According to CCTV Finance, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently approved the 6GHz spectrum for 6G trials, making the country the first globally to authorize experimental 6G frequencies. The approval enables 6G technology research to advance from laboratory simulations and indoor prototype testing to real-world scenarios such as urban and industrial environments for performance validation. The second phase of 6G technology development is now underway, with industry projecting commercial deployment around 2030.
