China Launches First National Humanoid Robot Lifecycle Management Platform with Digital ID System

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology launched the country's first comprehensive humanoid robot lifecycle management platform on May 22, according to an official statement. Each humanoid robot manufactured will receive a unique digital identification code upon factory release, enabling full traceability across production, market entry, sales, usage, and end-of-life recycling. The platform covers the entire chain with the objectives of source traceability, full-process control, risk prevention, and accountability.
