China's ChiNext 50 Index Rises 5.47% on May 6, Approached Historical High Intraday

According to PANews, China’s ChiNext 50 index rose 5.47% at close on May 6, after climbing over 9% intraday and approaching its historical high. The Shanghai Composite Index gained 1.17%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 2.33%, and the ChiNext Index increased 2.75%. Trading volume on both Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges reached 3.23 trillion yuan, up 485.9 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day.
