China's Commerce Minister Wang Wentao met with Laos Trade Minister Maleythong in Suzhou on May 21 on the sidelines of an RCEP and CPTPP members dialogue meeting. The two officials discussed deepening bilateral trade and investment cooperation across green minerals, new energy, and multilateral trade frameworks. Wang stated that China's Commerce Ministry aims to leverage the milestone of 65 years of China-Laos diplomatic relations to advance economic partnerships and promote trade growth in the coming years.
