China's National Energy Administration released power statistics for January-April 2026 on May 25. Cumulative installed power generation capacity reached 3.99 billion kilowatts as of end-April, up 14.2% year-over-year. Solar power capacity hit 1.25 billion kilowatts, rising 26.2% annually, while wind power capacity reached 660 million kilowatts, up 22.0% year-over-year.
