According to Decrypt, Circle launched Agent Stack on May 12, a toolkit that enables AI agents to independently hold funds, pay fees, and transact with USDC without human intervention. The suite includes an agent wallet, command-line interface, agent marketplace, and a nano-payment protocol supporting transfers as small as $0.000001 without gas fees. Circle co-founder Jeremy Allaire stated that Agent Stack is the first financial services suite designed with AI agents themselves as customers.
