EU Exports to US Drop 37.1% in March, Largest Decline Since 2003

GateNews
According to Bloomberg, EU exports to the United States fell 37.1% year-over-year in March 2026, marking the steepest decline since records began in 2003, underscoring trade volatility triggered by U.S. tariff policies. The decline follows a record 59.4% surge in EU exports in March 2025, when companies rushed to ship goods ahead of anticipated U.S. tariff measures. EU exports to the U.S. totaled €45 billion in March 2026, roughly in line with €44.9 billion in March 2024.
