According to Jin10 Futures and Longzhong Information on May 14, average float glass profit margins rebounded 2.47 yuan per ton to minus 98.38 yuan/ton for the week of May 8-14. Among three fuel types, natural gas-fired float glass averaged minus 132.80 yuan/ton (up 2.15 yuan/ton week-over-week), coal-to-gas production hit minus 14.88 yuan/ton (up 15.25 yuan/ton), and petroleum coke-fired lines averaged minus 147.47 yuan/ton (down 10.00 yuan/ton). The industry remains in deep loss-making, constraining further price declines.
