Former COSCO Executive Sui Jun Sentenced to 12.5 Years for Bribery, Embezzlement on May 22

According to Shanghai No.1 Intermediate People's Court, on May 22, Sui Jun, former managing official of China COSCO Shipping Group, was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months imprisonment and fined 1 million yuan for bribery and embezzlement of public funds. He received 10 years and 6 months for bribery with a 1 million yuan fine, and 5 years and 6 months for embezzlement, with illegal gains to be recovered.
