Goldman Sachs Reaffirms $5,400 Per Ounce Gold Target for Year-End 2026

According to Goldman Sachs, the investment bank reaffirmed its year-end 2026 gold price target of $5,400 per ounce. The bank expects central bank gold purchases to rise, with an average of 60 tons per month anticipated by 2026. Goldman Sachs noted that its updated 12-month moving average forecast shows central banks purchased 50 tons per month in March, up from a previous forecast of 29 tons monthly.
