Honda Sets 500 Billion Yen EV-Related Loss Target for Fiscal 2027

On May 14, Honda reported fiscal 2026 results (ended March 31, 2026) with operating losses of 4,143 billion yen, including 1.45 trillion yen in EV-related losses. Excluding EV losses, operating profit reached 1.04 trillion yen on sales of 21.80 trillion yen.

The automaker set EV-related losses at 500 billion yen for fiscal 2027 (ending March 31, 2027) and projects operating profit of 1 trillion yen excluding EV costs in fiscal 2026.
