Interactive Brokers Reports 48% Client Asset Growth in April Despite Trading Slowdown

According to Interactive Brokers, client equity reached $870.9 billion at the end of April, marking a 48% increase year-over-year and a 10% gain from March. Daily Average Revenue Trades (DARTs) totaled 4.241 million for the month, up 11% annually but down 2% from March. Client accounts expanded to 4.859 million, a 31% year-over-year increase, while margin loan balances climbed to $91.3 billion, up 57% year-over-year.
