Iran's Deputy FM Unveils Proposal to U.S. Including American Military Withdrawal on May 19

According to Iran’s state news agency (IRNA) and Reuters, on May 19, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Araghchi presented Tehran’s proposal to the United States at a national conference. The proposal includes Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear energy, ending all conflicts including in Lebanon, lifting U.S. maritime blockades on Iran, unfreezing and returning Iran’s frozen assets, U.S. compensation for war damages and reconstruction costs, terminating all unilateral sanctions, and the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from the region surrounding Iran.
