Japan Deploys Four SDF Members to Germany on June 1 for Ukraine Conflict Training

According to Japan's Defense Ministry on May 29, four Self-Defense Forces members will be stationed at NATO's Ukraine Security Assistance and Training Command headquarters in Germany beginning June 1, to study experience from the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The contingent comprises two Ground SDF members and one each from Maritime and Air SDF. They will be based at a U.S. military facility in Wiesbaden, western Germany, for a one-year deployment.
