Jump Crypto's Firedancer Solana Validator Client Goes Live, Completes $1M Audit Competition

According to BlockBeats, Jump Crypto’s Firedancer validator client went live on Solana mainnet on May 17, beginning block production. Firedancer lead engineer Ritchie Patel stated the client has processed tens of millions of transactions in production, while noting the team plans a gradual rollout to avoid large-scale validator migration before security audits are fully completed. The team recently completed a public security audit competition featuring a $1 million bug bounty pool.
