KKR to Invest $820M in Samsung SDS Through Convertible Bond Purchase

Gate News message, April 15 — U.S. private equity giant KKR announced on April 14 that it will invest 1.22 trillion Korean won (approximately $820 million) in Samsung SDS (Samsung Group's IT services subsidiary) through the acquisition of convertible bonds.

The investment will be made via convertible bonds, financial instruments that can be converted into equity at a later date.
