Latin American Stock Index, Currency Index Rise on Middle East Tensions Easing

On Monday, the MSCI Latin America index rose 0.5% and the Latin American currency index climbed 0.9%, buoyed by easing Middle East tensions. Both indices had posted their biggest weekly declines since March 2 following Iran-related conflict last Friday.
