According to Chainwire, MapleStory Universe (MSU) today marked its one-year anniversary with more than 150 million cumulative on-chain transactions and 3.82 million registered accounts, reflecting sustained player participation across the ecosystem. The platform is now entering MSU 2.0, an expansion phase designed to transform IP, builder, and player interaction through AI creation tools and on-chain infrastructure, with progressive rollout planned throughout 2026 to 2027.
MSU 2.0 introduces VIBE IP, a new tech stack providing builders access to gameplay and behavioral data from MapleStory N via APIs and establishing an on-chain builder economy on the Henesys chain to streamline IP licensing, revenue settlement, and payments. Supported by blockchain infrastructure and AI-powered “vibe coding,” the platform aims to onboard additional Nexon IPs over time, creating an AI-powered IP multiverse.
