Perena Founder Considers Simplifying USD* Architecture to Single Portfolio With ~10% APY

According to Foresight News, Perena stablecoin infrastructure founder Anna Perenina announced today that the team is considering simplifying the USD* product architecture. The plan includes restoring USD* to a single, undivided portfolio with an expected APY of approximately 10%, while establishing USD*-P as the main fixed-income product offering 5-6% APY, backed by USD*-J providing over 100% overcollateralization protection. The simplification comes after the previous tiered structure failed to gain traction, as most users did not hold multiple tiers simultaneously, reducing USD* yield efficiency.
