Pi Network Moves to Protocol 24 with June 2 Deadline as GCV Scammers Get Banned

PI-2.74%

According to Pi Core Team, on May 27, all Pi Mainnet nodes must complete a mandatory upgrade to Protocol 24.1 before June 2 to remain connected to the network. Node operators who fail to upgrade may lose access to the Pi Mainnet 2026 ecosystem, including network participation and future rewards.

Meanwhile, Pi community moderators have intensified efforts against fake "Global Consensus Value" (GCV) scam campaigns spreading unrealistic price narratives on social media. The Pi Core Team confirmed that accounts promoting false GCV pricing models have been banned, warning users to focus on real ecosystem development rather than price speculation.

Did that Traditional Chinese chat room administrator, v777v, say anything nice to Pi Network? He’s just a walking bad omen.
