Prometheum Cites Wall Street Distribution Gap as Key Barrier to Tokenized Securities Adoption

GateNews
According to CoinDesk, Prometheum on May 25 stated that the lack of mature Wall Street distribution channels, rather than technical or regulatory issues, is the core bottleneck for tokenized securities development. The platform noted that most tokenized securities projects currently target crypto-native users and have failed to reach traditional brokers, wealth management firms, and institutional investors—channels that control the majority of capital flows. For mass adoption, tokenized securities must integrate into existing securities issuance, brokerage, and custody systems rather than rely solely on crypto platforms.
