According to RBC, Russia passed a law on May 26 authorizing the Central Bank and other financial institutions to arm their staff and directly operate defense systems to shoot down unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) without requiring special forces intervention. Authorized institutions include Russia's Central Bank, Sberbank, Russian Cash Collection Association, and the Special Postal Service. Staff will be permitted to intercept UAVs through jamming remote control signals, disrupting control panels, and direct strikes.
