According to Bloomberg, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is expected to publish its innovation exemption for tokenized stocks as early as this week. The framework would allow traditional institutions to experiment with blockchain technology without requiring full registration compliance. This comes after the SEC approved rule changes from Nasdaq in March and the New York Stock Exchange in April to support tokenized securities trading.
