South Korea's KOSPI Hits Record High, Up 5.1% on May 4; SK Hynix Surges 12.5% as Market Cap Exceeds 10 Quadrillion Won

According to PANews, South Korea’s benchmark KOSPI index surged 5.1% to 6936.99 points today (May 4), hitting a record high. SK Hynix jumped 12.5% to an all-time closing price, with its market cap exceeding 10 quadrillion won for the first time. The MSCI Asia Pacific index also rose 2.3%, reaching a record intraday high.
