SpaceX Starship Conducts 12th Test Flight from Texas on May 22

According to CCTV News, on May 22, SpaceX's Starship rocket conducted its 12th test flight, launching from Texas at 6:30 p.m. EDT (May 23 at 6:30 a.m. Beijing time). The test flight deployed a new-generation Starship vehicle and Super Heavy booster equipped with upgraded Raptor engines and utilized a redesigned launch pad for the first time. The mission aims to validate the performance of these new systems in real flight conditions. The Super Heavy booster is scheduled to make a controlled splash-down in waters near the Gulf of Mexico, while the Starship upper stage will splash down in the Indian Ocean after completing its objectives.
