Two Major CEXs Explore Tokenization, Custody, and Distribution Partnership for U.S. Equities

Gate News message, April 20 — A major CEX is in talks with another major exchange to explore tokenization, custody, and global distribution services for U.S.-listed stocks and pre-IPO equities, according to CoinDesk. The negotiations are ongoing and do not involve equity acquisitions or similar transactions to enter the U.S. market.

The second exchange is pursuing its U.S. market entry through a separate entity led by former co-CEO Helen Liu. The effort involves an undisclosed local partner providing licensing and compliance support, while the exchange itself contributes technology, products, and liquidity.
