Ukraine Strikes Russia's Nevinnomyssk Fertilizer Plant Producing 1.4M Tons of Ammonium Nitrate Annually on May 17

According to Ukraine’s Interior Ministry advisor, Russia’s Nevinnomyssk nitrogen fertilizer plant in Stavropol region was struck on May 17. The facility produces up to 1.4 million tons of ammonium nitrate and over 1 million tons of ammonia annually, materials used for explosives and ammunition production within Russia’s military-industrial complex.

Separately, Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station management reported that a Ukrainian unmanned drone crashed near the facility’s generator units on May 17. The station continued normal operations with no damage sustained.
