U.S. Court of Appeals Stays Ruling Against Trump's 10% Global Tariffs on Tuesday

According to Jinshi, on Tuesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals stayed the lower court’s ruling against the Trump administration’s 10% global tariffs imposed under Section 122 of the Trade Act, allowing the tariffs to remain in effect on two companies and Washington State that had won relief last week. The lower court ruled against the tariffs on Friday but did not impose a full ban; the Trump administration appealed. The Federal Circuit Court of Appeals issued a temporary administrative stay and is considering a longer-term suspension. The affected parties have seven days to oppose the extension of the stay. The 10% tariffs, implemented in February, are set to expire in July.
