According to Jin10, energy trading firm Vitol supplied Iraqi Basra crude oil to customers through ship-to-ship operations near Fujairah (UAE port) on May 14. The cargo included both Basra medium and heavy crude grades, delivered over recent days to refiners. The transaction marks a rare instance of Iraqi crude being publicly offered by traders in the spot market since the Hormuz Strait situation intensified.
