Today, Bitcoin has crashed and was unable to make a real recovery back to the highs of this expanding wedge.
The whole structure is a slippery slope.
Bulls will offer once again some resistance at 71k, but this should get swiftly countered.
The expanding wedge pattern is playing out as expected.

My trading plan
As I said before, Bitcoin is currently in an expanding wedge. Bulls are unable to push the price back to the highs and it signals weakness.
Expecting price to drop again to the next support level (dashed line), make an even weaker bounce before crashing again.
I will be shorting when I see that weak bounce around 71.5k.
We haven't crashed in a straight line yet, but this is soon going to happen.

We remain inside this expanding wedge pattern
I'm expecting Bitcoin to make one final push to 75k and this will be my potential short area.
This is a strong downtrend and a retest to the highs at 76k is now highly unlikely.
Instead, this is a "calm before the storm" kind of scenario, where we make one or two final bounces before a big crash.

And in 80% of the cases, price fails to reclaim prior highs, just makes another relief bounce before collapsing hard again.
I'm therefore expecting a bounce to 74 500$, where I'll short, before the move can continue to 70k.

The trade I shared on Bitcoin is currently in the red.
I am holding until stop-loss or take-profit, nothing has changed, just like my trade on UB.
Whatever the outcome might be, whether I win or lose this one, it will be 10 days since I started this trading challenge.
Sharing my set-up publicly every day, showing both wins and losses, sharing entries and exits. Not many people do that.
That being said, I don't believe I will pursue this challenge, at least not in the way I'm doing it now. Daily Bitcoin trading often feels like gambling.

Today Bitcoin grabbed liquidity below this psychological 76k level.
While retail traders would short as soon as we lost this level, the market often likes to do the opposite.
I am expecting another pullback to the highs just below 78k as we get back into the structure on lower timeframes.
Of course we're still making lower highs and that doesn't mean Bitcoin won't crash sooner or later.
Risking 200$ (12000$ position) on this challenge trade. Either we get back

YES, I'm bearish
YES, the whole structure broke down
YES, 70k is coming
However, there is no need to FOMO right now into a short. The market always fluctuates a little as institutional actors don't panic sell at the first red candle, unless we broke down some major level.
Right now, many shorts are prepared, the liquidity is there. All we need to do is just wait a little.
If in a matter of 16-20 hours we see that bulls can't push us past 75k, then shorting will be smart, even at a "low" price.
But first, I'm waiting to see how far bulls can push us back and whether or not my limit sell

We ended up breaking down, not even a retest of 79k first.
And it confirms what everyone already saw: the breakdown of the whole uptrend.
The ultimate fakeout.
A relatively quick drop to 70k is now more likely, since we know 78k rejected us.
This whole recovery was already weird from the beginning. No one understood why we pumped back to 80k.
Now maybe the bear market can return in full swing.

I don't often post about Solana memecoins but I think I might potentially have found the moon mission we've all been waiting for.
$WORLDCUP is a coin related to the upcoming football world cup.
It has seen strong and steady growth, reached 10M Mcap and the ears of some influencers.
I think this might not be over yet. I bought a bag at 11M Mcap
Not the best entry, but I don't think I'll find a better one.
