Gate News message, April 17 — According to on-chain analyst Ai Yī, a former holder of 1 million ETH transferred 2,000 ETH, valued at approximately $4.63 million, to a multi-signature address eight hours ago (early morning, April 17), potentially indicating an intent to sell.
The receiving address is considered the whale’s “dedicated liquidation address,” which typically transfers received ETH to a major CEX shortly after receipt. The funds originated from address 0x2bf…E4087, which shows frequent interactions with block builders BuilderNet and Titan build.
The whale previously held over 1 million ETH since the ICO era and has been actively moving positions in recent months.
