Adobe Stock Falls 6.7% as CFO Defects to Marvell on June 12

According to Yahoo Finance, Adobe (ADBE-US) stock fell 6.7% on Friday, June 12, amid concerns over executive turnover and the company's shift toward a freemium strategy. The company announced that Chief Financial Officer Dan Durn will depart on June 15 to become CFO of Marvell Technology (MRVL-US). The departure comes three months after Adobe disclosed that CEO Shantanu Narayen plans to step down upon finding a successor after 18 years in the role. Despite second-quarter revenue reaching a record $66.2 billion, up 13% year-over-year, the market focused on leadership instability rather than financial performance. Adobe shares have declined 37% so far this year.
