According to Jin10, Alphabet announced on June 2 that it would raise $80 billion through equity offerings, including a $10 billion private investment from Berkshire Hathaway. The funding comprises $30 billion in underwritten public offerings and $40 billion in at-the-market (ATM) transactions. Berkshire will purchase $5 billion in Alphabet A-class shares at $351.81 per share and $5 billion in C-class shares at $348.20 per share. Alphabet stated that AI demand has exceeded its current supply capacity, and the capital expansion aims to support infrastructure growth for future opportunities.
