HNT-8.26%

According to Decrypt and Helium Mobile COO Frank Mong, Andrew Yang's Noble Mobile has acquired Helium Mobile, the mobile service provider built on the decentralized Helium network. Deal terms were not disclosed, but the combined company plans to offer low-cost service plans. Subscribers will retain their phone numbers and access to the 5G network powered by T-Mobile.

Helium operates a "crowd-built" cellular network composed of nearly 139,000 mobile hotspots deployed worldwide and now serves 2.6 million daily users, generating over $47,000 per day in revenue. Nova Labs, which founded the Helium network, will focus on expanding network capacity and onboarding additional carriers. HNT, the Solana-based token underlying the network, declined 7% over the past 24 hours to $0.64, pushing its 30-day loss to approximately 28%.
