According to Analysis Group's research commissioned by Apple, the App Store facilitated $1.4 trillion in transactions in 2025, more than doubling economic activity since 2019. Digital goods and services surged 2.4 times, physical goods and services increased 2.8 times, and in-app advertising revenue jumped 2.9 times over the same period.
China generated the largest transaction volume at $562 billion, followed by the United States at $453 billion, Europe at $184 billion, and Japan at $52 billion. Goldman Sachs indicated that Apple Intelligence will boost services revenue, with AI-powered development tools expected to drive a new wave of app growth on the platform.
